Music statuses
Every program has exactly one music status. Participants see it next to each program when they look themselves up; organizers see it on the music dashboard and on each program's page.
| Status | Meaning | Who acts | How it is resolved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ready | Playable music in an accepted format, within the expected duration | Nobody | — |
| Warning | Playable music, but its duration is outside the allowed range | Participant and organizer | The participant sends the right cut, or the organizer accepts a category exception |
| Invalid | A file was received but it is not playable audio | Participant | The participant exports the music again and replaces the file |
| Missing | No music yet, or the music was withdrawn | Participant | The participant submits music |
How RallyHub decides
RallyHub only looks at the current file of a program — the most recent one received. Earlier versions never affect the status.
- No current file → Missing.
- The current file cannot be read as audio → Invalid.
- The duration is outside expected duration ± tolerance → Warning.
- Otherwise → Ready.
A program without a duration requirement is ready as soon as it has playable music.
Needs attention
On the music dashboard, Needs attention groups every status except Ready — missing, warning and invalid together. It is the list to work through before the deadline. See Find what needs work.
Competition statuses
Competitions have a status of their own, shown as a badge next to their name:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Upcoming | The competition has not started yet |
| Running | The competition is taking place |
| Finished | The competition is over |
